Thanks to some anonymous user of eMule who shared it, I’ve found this book by Victor Shoup. You can find it also in its web page, where (presumably) will be posted updated versions. It is also available a printed version from Cambridge University Press, or from online book retailers.
This book focuses on the computational aspects of number theory and algebra (e.g., presenting algorithms for various tasks and analyzing their complexity — and emphasizes important applications of the mathematics developed.
