I usually spend lots of time searching for interesting things to download, and it’s more and more frequently that they are available via the Bittorrent protocol. This is a sample of the treasures I’ve found in my explorations on the net:

Speaking of Ubuntu and Linux in general, it’s really easy to find ISO images of every distribution you can think about (and those that you’d never imagine). The link above shares not only Linux distributions; in spite of its domain name it indeed has a ton of links to other *IX systems, like *Solaris and *BSD. Rose Linux Light (revised)

This distro is an Ubuntu Intrepid completely remade.

Is a modern distro for older PCs that can`t run Compiz. (desktop effects).
It have light software on it: Opera 9.6, Deluge-Torrent, Evince, OpenOffice.Org 2.4, Pidgin, AlsaPlayer, Totem and more… Gnome-Desktop is at version 2.24.0, It have flash-player, all multimedia codecs. It have no Compiz, FireFox and Java.
This is a light version of Rose Linux that will be release on 26.10.2008, a full distro on DVD, with a lot of software.
